Lighthouse Keeper

兵庫県西宮市の今津灯台。

今津の酒造「大関」醸造元、長部家五代目長兵衛によって、
今津港に出入りする樽廻船や漁船の安全を願い、文化七年（1810年）に
建てられた灯明台が「大関酒造今津灯台」の起源です。

その後、六代目文次郎が再建。今津の人々は深い親しみと郷愁を感じています。
石の基壇の上に建つ高さ約6.7m、建設当時は油を燃料にしていました。
大正年間に電化され、現在では緑色の光（不動緑光）を、海の安全を守るため
照らし続けており、市の文化財指定を受けています。

★It Lights Up!
Imazu Lighthouse is built in 1810 by the Ozeki Sake Brewery
that guided barrel ships coming into the port of Imazu.
It was commissioned in honor of the 300th anniversary of "Ozeki Shuzo", the sake brewery.
This exotic Japanese lighthouse flashes a green light.
The original beacon used a wooden frame lamp and a paper shade to beam light onto the sea.
Still active today, this wooden, lantern-shaped landmark has been reconstructed
and serves as an important cultural symbol.
Our exquisitely crafted resin replica features "Kanji", authentic Japanese characters,
etched in its stone-like base.
Long lasting LED flashing light with on/off switch requires 3 "AAA" batteries (not included).
